- Saibee Sabharwal was best friends with Vinod Khanna a long time ago. Vinod suggested Saibee start two films and take him as the hero in the films. Saibee agreed and started the two productions. But during the course of time Vinod decided to quit films and go to America. This made Saibee suffer incredible losses. To compensate for Saibee's loss, Vinod gave him a 800 square feet flat to live in for free. Due to his financial loss, Saibee then had to go work for Mahesh Bhatt as a assistant to survive. Vinod finally returned after 5 years and asked Saibee to quit working for Mahesh Bhatt and join him. Saibee did immediately. This is when Vinod asked Saibee to vacate the flat given to him 5 years ago. Khanna maintained it was only suppose to be temporary where as Saibee refused to move out saying even Vinod Khanna could not ask him to leave.This caused their friendship to sour. Saibee wept that he had three children and he would be on the streets if Vinod would kick him out.
