“The Anonymous” has crowned its first-ever winner.

After 15 players went head-to-head while living side-by-side, the USA Network competition named its winner as Nina Twine, who takes home the grand prize of $100,000.

Twine is the daughter of “Survivor” legend Sandra Diaz-Twine, who recently appeared on “The Traitors” Season 2 on Peacock. Following in her mom’s footsteps, Twine first appeared on “Australian Survivor: Blood v. Water,” when she made the notorious move of voting out her own mother, and later returned to the Down Under iteration of the survival show as a hero in “Heroes v. Villains.”

Nina kept her mom’s identity under wraps as she entered “The Anonymous,” though her fellow contestants made it impossible for her to truly deny the connection, even if she tried.

Peacock’s The Traitors is up for four Emmy Awards for its second season, and host Alan Cumming opened up about what he loves about the reality competition.

“I really just love this show. I love being at the castle. I love everybody there. What Is The Anonymous About?

The main thing that sets The Anonymous apart from other social experiment shows is that contestants will be able to truly express themselves. It aims to intertwine two different worlds: the real world and a world where you can be totally anonymous. Each person has complete anonymity by wearing a mask.

Twelve players will compete to win $100,000. The name of the game is deceit. Each of the 12 people in the game will aim to outwit and outmaneuver the next person. It promises twists and turns, as well as unexpected alliances.

The Netflix series, based on the streaming’s mega-hit Korean survival drama Squid Game, saw 456 contestants compete for a massive $4.56 million prize through a series of challenges. These ranged from the infamous “Red Light Green Light” from the 2021 drama, in which contestants had to avoid moving while in the eyeline of a horrifying giant doll, to new ones based on children’s games such as Battleship.

Open social media on any given Thursday night as of late, and you’ve probably seen a message that reads something like “If you’re not watching #TheTraitors wtf are you actually doing.”

The Peacock series, which premiered in January and airs every Thursday night, has become an addictive guilty pleasure, earning the number one spot among unscripted streaming series and turning out endlessly quotable one-liners and internet memes on a weekly basis.

The global franchise originated with the Dutch show De Verraders in 2021. A year later, The Traitors was adapted for a U.

Peacock has renewed its breakout competition show for a third season. The pickup comes midway through season two of The Traitors, which which has become the NBCUniversal streamer’s biggest unscripted show to date.

According to Peacock, the show will make its first appearance on the Nielsen streaming charts for the week of Jan. 15-21, with about 384 million minutes of viewing time. (The full Nielsen charts lag by several weeks and will be available in mid-February.) It’s the first unscripted show on Peacock to make any streaming top 10 ranking. Squid Game: The Challenge, a 10 episode competition series inspired by inspired by the Netflix streaming service’s South Korean survival drama series Squid Game, began streaming on Netflix near the end of November – and it must be doing extremely well, because Netflix has already announced that Squid Game: The Challenge season 2 has been given a green light!

The season 1 finale is set to start streaming tonight (December 6th) at 9pm Eastern time. The winner will be receiving a $4.56 million reward.

A press release notes that Squid Game: The Challenge has ranked at #1 on Netflix’s Top 10 English TV list for the weeks of November 20 and 27, both weeks it was eligible. It also hit the Top 10 in 93 countries. “Squid Game: The Challenge” contestants will go up against glass tiles and the killer robotic doll just like participants did in Netflix’s South Korean drama series “Squid Game.” But this time, there won’t be any killing.

However, just like the preceding show, “Squid Game: The Challenge” will welcome 456 (real-life) players to embark on a journey of physical challenges and teamwork-centered competitions all in an effort to win millions. They’ll even take on Younghee, the electronic doll that wiped out 256 of the players in the first round, in the game titled “Red Light, Green Light.”

“Attention players, you will now compete for our biggest cash prize in reality show history,” one of the “Squid Game”- costumed workers said in the teaser clip. The number for the cash prize popped up on the screen showing an amount of $4,560,000.”

The Peacock series has gathered familiar faces from all across reality television to join the mysterious competition, including former Bachelor Peter Weber, Love Island UK alum Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, The Real Housewives of Miami‘s Larsa Pippen and Survivor‘s Parvati Shallow.

Peacock has revealed the all-star cast competing in Season 2 of “The Traitors,” featuring a wide variety of reality stars, athletes and even a politician.

Hosted by Alan Cumming, the show gathers 21 players in a remote castle in the Scottish Highlands to compete in challenges to earn a cash prize of up to $250,000. But there’s a catch: some of the competitors, dubbed “the Traitors,” are designated to work from within the ranks to steal the prize from the other contestants, known as “the Faithful.” The season is currently in production and expected to premiere in early 2024.

Cumming never had hosted a reality series before and said he played it up like a “James Bond villain.” “I loved how fun and inventive I could be with this. I’m basically playing a character … so it’s subverting the form in a way,” he said.

The BBC is staying 100% loyal to “The Traitors.”

The public broadcaster officially greenlit a second season of the smash hit reality series, which is the biggest entertainment launch for the BBC in two years. Casting is now open for the next competition.

“The Traitors,” which aired in December, has had 34 million views on BBC streaming service iPlayer. The Studio Lambert-produced show was the biggest new series for young audiences across all BBC titles last year, and the highest rating new entertainment series on the public broadcaster since at least 2017 for young audiences.

Referencing her legendary knitwear on Season 1, host Claudia Winkleman said: “I can’t wait to go back to the castle to watch people play the greatest game on television. I’m knitting a high funnel sweater immediately.”
