Recently, NBC served up the new, official synopsis/spoilers for their upcoming "Chicago Fire" episode 9 of season 4. Last night, NBC released the new promo/spoiler clip (below) for their upcoming "Chicago Fire" episode 8 of season 4, and it offers up new looks at some really dramatic and intense stuff as a hardcore confrontation is spotted going down, along with a lot of action, explosions, and more! The episode is titled, "When Tortoises Fly." As we reported previously, Jay Woelfel's Live Evil will have a 300-screen theatrical release starting September 18th, as well as being available on DVD and OnDemand November 3rd. To honor the occasion, the film also has a spiffy new teaser poster.

Live Evil tells the story of vampires having trouble surviving in a world where the blood supply has become polluted by drugs and STDs. The film stars Ken Foree, Åsa Wallander, Mark Hengst, and Tim Thomerson along with Lee Perkins (KatieBird*Certifiable Crazy Person), Chuck Williams (Bubba Ho-tep), filmmakers Jeff Burr (Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III) and Sean Cain (Silent Night, Zombie Night), scream queens Tiffany Shepis and Elissa Dowling, porn star Jenny Hendrix, and more.

The producers of "Live Evil" have released a second poster for the film to coincide with the September 18th theatrical release. Available in over three hundred theatres, across the United States, fans can get a look at this film, which will likely be reviewed here at a later date. Already seen by this horror fan the film contains a vampire story that has not been told yet involving a dwindling supply of pure human blood. On a mission to avenge his family, who was slaughtered by a rogue group of vampires in the distant past, The Priest (Tim Thomerson) travels rural regions in search of those who cast misery upon him so early in life. This band of blood suckers isn’t all too difficult to find. Their incessant thirst for blood leads to careless, and quite messy mistakes. Which, in turn leads to The Priest directly to this band of plasma thieves. It all comes down to one man, fire in heart battling a group of undead with a few secrets tucked carefully away. Here we deal with an inspired cast who clearly enjoyed themselves while filming the picture. The acting, action and gore are all so extremely far over-the-top, I can’t fathom being a part of this and not enjoying it. Tim Thomerson...

Jay Woelfel's Live Evil has scored a theatrical release of 300 screens across the nation and will start rolling out on September 18th before seeing the light of DVD in early November. This film is particularly notable for Pretty Scary in that it stars not just one, but two Scary Studs of the Month!

Actors Ken Foree (October 2004) and Mark Hengst (July 2008) have both graced the illustrious pages of Pretty Scary, and both men have teamed up to star in the new vampiric thriller Live Evil.

The film, which also stars Elissa Dowling (I like her!) and Tiffany Shepis (her too!), tells the story of vampires having trouble surviving in a world where the blood supply has become polluted by drugs and STDs. Presumably global warming and the soaring costs of health care isn't making them very happy either.

Lee Perkins sent us an E-mail to let us know that Anchor Bay is releasing Edges of Darkness on DVD Sept. 22nd, 2009. The post-apocalyptic, zombie flick tells the tales of three groups of survivors held up in an apartment complex: A vampire couple kidnaps a young girl when there food supply starts to dwindle, an obsessed horror writer is stuck with his neglected wife Dana, and a survival nut, Heather, rescues a young mother and her son from a horde of zombies, only to find herself in a real life Servants of Twilight situation. Perkins other film, Live Evil starring Tim Thomerson, Mark Hengst, Ken Foree, and Tiffany Shepis is getting a limited theatrical release on 300 screens followed by a DVD release on November 3rd, 2009. Producer Mark Terry got in touch with Fango to spread the word that his recent film, Live Evil has scored distribution.

The film (which we first mentioned here) had a screening at our Los Angeles Weekend of Horrors this past April, and we'd been waiting for the release plan ever since.

Terry tells Fango that Monogram Releasing will be sending Live Evil out on a limited theatrical release on 300 screens in select markets starting September 18th. This will be followed by a DVD release on November 3rd, along with a VOD release on the same day.

Recently signed for North American distribution "Live Evil" will show in 300 theaters beginning September 18. Lee Perkins, Ken Foree, and Tim Thomerson will be on the big screen in this independent film from director Jay Woelfel. Also, releasing on DVD in mid November these cast members encounter everything from vampire babies, to sexually performing midgets all with in a ninety minute runtime. Pushing the boundaries of horror filmmaking to the extreme fans must see this picture for themselves this fall and when theatre locations become available they will be posted here.

As proof that sometimes the little guy does indeed get a break, we got word this morning that Jay Woelfel's indie film Live Evil has gotten itself theatrical distribution.

Putting a new twist on campy "Live Evil" is in negotiations for North American distribution and after seeing the film fans will want to see this simply for the humour. Showcasing the humour of Lee Perkins, Tim Thomerson, Ken Foree and others "Live Evil" will hopefully be available for the masses. In the meantime the first trailer for this horror project along with the one sheet poster are available with a full cast and crew line up. Have a look inside at all the bloody goodness.

I don’t care what anyone says; Megashark vs. Giant Octopus is the best movie ever. Ever. Not only does it star 80’s teen pop sensation Deborah “Debbie” Gibson and rugged greasy heartthrob Lorenzo Lamas, it features Scary Stud of the month Mark Hengst and cutie pie Stephen Blackehart. But not only that – it’s about a giant octopus versus a mega shark. If you understand everything I just wrote I don’t know how you could argue with me...

Take into consideration also that you get to see a giant computer shark jump out of the ocean and catch an airplane in its jaws! Aforementioned shark also bites in half the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco (I hate San Francisco!) The Octopus does stuff too, like destroy submarines and have big eyes.

If The Blair Witch Project hooked up with the Ruins, and had a baby after carrying a dreadful Grudge, you’d find a little Haunted Forest had made it‘s way into the world. I wish I could write something endearing to adhere to that scenario, but I’m having a hard time bringing myself to do it. I wish I could say I was exaggerating a bit, but I can’t do that either. The fact is, this one just isn’t much fun - plain and simple.
