After a degree in Business Administration and several years as a Production Manager, Eva Kemme studied Film Producing at the renowned German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb). Since 2012 she is working with Ansgar Frerich and Tobias Siebert as General Manager and Producer at BASIS BERLIN Filmproduktion, an independent production company focusing on International Arthouse and Serial Prime Formats. Her films won more than 50 international awards including Sundance, Krakow, Vision du Réel or El Gouna and Nominations for the Asian Pacific Film Price, the Arab-, the European- and the German-Film Awards. For Djihadistes de père en fils (2017) by Talal Derki she received an Academy Award Nomination in the Category Best Documentary.
