Trailer for Road Trip Indie 'She's in Portland' Discussing Life's Choices
Jeremy Alter, Tommy Dewey, Minka Kelly, Marc Carlini, and François Arnaud in She's in Portland (2020)
"She made me feel hope... I wanted every day to feel like that." Freestyle Dm has released an official trailer for a indie road trip dramedy titled She's in Portland, from filmmaker Marc Carlini. This first premiered at the Santa Barbara Film Festival earlier this year, and it also played at the Sedona, Sonoma, and Phoenix Film Festivals. She's in Portland follows two men who seemingly admire each other's lives and feel trapped in their own. Wes, tied to his demanding corporate career and his responsibilities to his growing family, extends a work trip to drag his dispirited artist friend Luke up the California Coast to find Luke's "one that got away". Through their travels and conversations, the trip takes a deeper look into life choices, acceptance, and commitment. The film stars Tommy Dewey and Ricco Ross, with Minka Kelly, Vishesh Chachra, Alexis Krause, Robin Gammell, Elaine Partnow, and François Arnaud.

New "Jersey Boys" Trailer Makes Me Want to See the Movie Now!!!!
Okay I admit it, I'm a showtunes queen! I love Broadway and musicals, good musicals, that is. And I think "Jersey Boys" is a good musical. The rugs-to-riches tale of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is captivating and the soundtrack rocks!

And now comes the inevitable movie version, and to be honest? It actually looks good! Director Clint Eastwood added some grittiness to the Broadway gloss and voila -- a musical that will steal our hearts this summer, June 20th to be exact! Oh, plus points for adding Christopher Walken to the mix! Will he sing? Or at least dance?

Take a look at the new "Jersey Boys" trailer and then sing with the soundtrack:

Here's the official synopsis:

Clint Eastwood's big screen version of the Tony Award-winning musical tells the story of the four young men from the wrong side of the tracks in New Jersey who...

Beau Bridges, Will Arnett, and Margo Martindale in The Millers (2013)
'The Millers' premiere react: Go big or go home
Beau Bridges, Will Arnett, and Margo Martindale in The Millers (2013)
Creating a funny family out of quirky parents living with their adult children is one thing. Taking that family and making it lovable, well, that’s another thing entirely.

The premiere of Will Arnett’s new CBS comedy The Millers was a lackluster first effort, I’m sad to say. Arnett plays Jack, a semi-successful broadcast journalist, who accidentally turns his life upside down when his parents come to visit. After he reveals that he and his wife are divorced, his father (Beau Bridges) decides it’s time for him to leave his wife of 43 years. And by leave, I...

Ashton Kutcher Talks About His Two and a Half Men Role
Ashton Kutcher in Jobs (2013)
A whole new era of the top-rated CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men kicks off with the Season 9 premiere tonight, September 19 at 9 Pm Et, when Ashton Kutcher steps in to replace Charlie Sheen in Episode 9.1: Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt. Ashton Kutcher recently wrote an editorial about why he took the job, and one of the "two and a half reasons" was due to his presence in social media. Here's what he had to say below.

"When I really broke down the decision to take the job, there were so many rewards and few risks - except maybe one: I was stepping into a media frenzy. But I figured I could temper that a bit by keeping the lines of communication open with my social media presence. I can always set the record straight."

The actor also said he took the job to spend more time with his family,...

‘Secret Girlfriend’ Sexies Up Comedy Central, Will the Web Pickup Work?
Some people cringe when you refer to the web as a development ground (or minor leagues) for TV. And rightly so, the moniker is too limiting for what amounts to a super-fragemented online community of millions of avid surfers. Not every web series is meant for TV. That doesn't stop network development execs from scouring video sites for the latest tweet-worthy vids. With tonight's premiere of Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central, we have the latest data point to test the development lab theory. What started as a mobile phone series, that was later released as a web series through Atomic Wedgie, was able to catch the eye of development execs enough to order up six half-hour episodes. The show's creators, Jay Rondot and Ross Novie, have been at the online content game for a while, finding some success with their series The Rascal for Sony's Crackle as well as the...
