Photographer Stenson has reportedly filed a lawsuit claiming damages of 323,000 pounds and half the value of the three houses he says they bought together, the Daily Mail reported.

The actress, who currently stars in the Fox series "Alcatraz", filed papers in Los Angeles Super Court, citing "irreconcilable differences".

The couple began dating in 2002 and married seven years later in two ceremonies: one civil and one traditional Sikh ceremony. They have a two-year-old son, Kai David Singh.

The star and her husband James Stenson are celebrating after welcoming the tot earlier this month.

A representative for Nagra tells Usmagazine.com, "Parminder Nagra and her husband James Stenson are thrilled to announce the birth of their son, Kai David Singh Stenson.

"He was born on Tuesday, May 19. Mother, daddy and baby are all doing great."

Nagra and Stenson wed in January, a month after learning the actress was expecting.

Parminder Nagra returned to the hospital last week, but it wasn't a nostalgia visit for the erstwhile Dr. Neela Rasgotra.
