Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Gargoyles get mashed up in new 1990s crossover art. Based on the comic book characters, the first animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series premiered in 1987 and ran throughout most of the 1990s following the crime-fighting adventures of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. Gargoyles was much more short-lived, airing from 1994 to 1997 and following the titular creatures named Goliath, Brooklyn, Broadway, Lexington, and Hudson who turn to stone by day and serve as the city's secret protectors by night.
