Biography

Johnny Land has been involved in Television and Motion Picture production in Atlanta for the past twenty years. As a Scenic Artist, he painted on more than 60 Feature Films, and Television shows... which is astounding for a man of 32..

Johnny, while drinking his breakfast, was approached by a waiter. Because of his dashing looks, and razor sharp wit. To be told to keep it down, and stop cursing in front of the children. Then the waiter inquired if he was an actor?.. Johnny choked on a celery stick someone had inadvertently placed in his Vodka, and replied. well No The waiter added, that he thought Johnny should be. From his previous Actor encounters. Johnny took this as a slight,and thought for a moment of throwing his breakfast at the waiter. Rational interceded , what with the shortage of Vodka at the table. Understanding the waiter's intentions were kind hearted. And now only in hindsight, do we know it was just something the waiter said to all of his customers. to somehow normalize his life choices.. (quote) "I've seen Actors, vapid, Narcissistic, soulless creatures Pretty empty headed, vessels that can be filled with whatever emotion one could ever dream up.. just pull them out of the cupboard, pull off their waiter apron find the x on the floor. Pour in emotion, and put a light on them.

Sounds easy.."

Johnny got and agent, and embarked on his acting career.

Johnny honed his improve skills with a three year stint at the Village Theater. doing Sunday afternoon shows entitled "Unattended the show". Followed by the unremarkable "Is this Thing On? What are we doing here? " both played to empty houses. But still stranger, were met with mixed reviews. (quote) "Improve taught me to be present in the moment, and more importantly, to be truthful in my deceptions."

Taking his Improve knowledge with him, as he was asked to leave through the rear exit. He set his sights on more lucrative aspects of the entertainment business.

Being a Featured Extra. There he stood beside people, doing interesting things, saying things, and being important to the story arc.. He. acting as inert filler, just the sort of thing his upbringing had prepared him for.. it was riveting.

He rose to the pinnacle of local market car commercials. then to, aggravating to the consumer Phone advertisements. Till he's finally arrived at Feature film One liners..

With $8 royalty checks rolling in. He knew he had found his path.

Its Me Margaret, Almost Christmas, The Last of Robin Hood, MacGyver, Banned In Boise, and Your Worst Nightmare...He also recently worked on commercials for Aflac, Microsoft \NBA and is represented exclusively in Atlanta by Aligned Stars Agency..
