Biography

Martina Schabron, a dual citizen of the USA and Switzerland, was born in California, but grew up mostly in Zurich, Switzerland. She's fully bilingual in English (US) and Swiss German, speaks accent-free High German and has a working knowledge of Italian and French.

After obtaining an Hon BSc in Criminology and Psychology at the University of Toronto, Martina moved back home and worked in law enforcement for many years. Eventhough she discovered her passion for acting at an early age and has many years of training and onstage experience, she only started pursuing this career professionally when she moved back to Toronto, Canada, at the end of 2020.

Since then she has been steadily building her resume on camera and on stage, as well as consistently working on her craft with coaches in LA, NY, Zurich and Paris. She's in the process of writing her first solo show, which is set to premiere this summer (2023), and just recently wrapped her first indie feature film as a lead actor (Invited, post-production).

In her free time, Martina loves to stare at the clouds, bake up a storm, watch all the people, take long walks anywhere and everywhere, and read about whatever her newest fascination may be.

Martina Schabron has made her debut lead role in the upcoming feature film "Invited" (105films), which premiered this summer (2024).

With a background in law enforcement, she's now making a name for herself as an actor and writer based in NY, Washington DC, and Atlanta. Martina's love for the craft extends from screen to stage, with recent lead roles in immersive theatre productions such as "Stranger Things: The Experience" (Netflix, Fever) as well as traditional stage theatre productions such as "The Unmanageable Sisters," and "The Hen Night Epiphany" (Toronto Irish Players).

In addition to her extensive actor training worldwide, Martina holds a degree in criminology and psychology. Her autobiographical solo show - a dark comedy about mental health - toured across North America in 2023.

She's fluent in English, German, and Swiss German, speaks accent-free Italian and French, and is a dual citizen of the USA and Switzerland.
