The ongoing The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei manga series by Aki Shimizu is getting an anime adaptation, which is what you probably know already. This school-set supernatural mystery manga is fairly popular and the manga currently has 11 volumes as of the time of writing this.

The anime is scheduled for an April 7, 2025 premiere, and in this report, we have some updates related to the cast of the series, as four new cast members for the The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei have been revealed.

The Mononoke Lecture Logs of Chuzenji-sensei: He Just Solves All the Mysteries , an upcoming TV anime based on the supernatural mystery manga series, has revealed four new members. The adaptation will broadcast in Japan beginning on April 7. The 19th Seiyu Awards, which took place on March 15, 2025, in Tokyo, honored the most outstanding talents of the past year.

Toshihiko Seki (Birth of Kitaro: The Mystery of GeGeGe) and Miho Okasaki (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) were named Best Lead Voice Actors.

Seki, who voiced Kitaro’s father in the GeGeGe no Kitaro prequel film, expressed his gratitude, highlighting his collaboration with Hidenobu Kiuchi, who played Mizuki and won Best Supporting Voice Actor.

“I have heard that this award was given to me for Kitaro Tanjou: GeGeGe no Nazo. It was a buddy story with Kiuchi-san, who played Mizuki. I sincerely thank everyone who supported us,” he stated.

Studio Fugaku and Studio Akatasuki's anime adaptation of Junji Ito's hit manga Uzumaki has been making waves as of late and the series is finally making its way to Netflix, albeit with a small catch. Though the reception to Uzumaki has been quite mixed, as an adaptation of one of Ito's best works, demand for the series remains strong as ever and fortunately, Uzumaki is finally coming to one of the biggest streaming platforms.

According to a post on X by NetflixAnime, Uzumaki: Spiral Into Horror will be making its way to Netflix in Asia in 2024.
