Five-time Emmy-nominated director, producer and editor, Jody McVeigh-Schultz, was raised near Philadelphia and attended USC to study Film/TV Production. In 2025, he was director and EP for Amazon Prime's four-part series, Spy High, which won a SXSW audience award. In 2023 he was show runner for Amazon's critically acclaimed series Shiny Happy People and, before that, director and show runner for HBO's Emmy-nominated, three-part documentary series The Murders at Starved Rock. He's been nominated for four Emmys for his editing on Netflix's Cheer, HBO's McMillion$ and Comedy Central's Drunk History. With a focus on documentary and comedy, he is also known for his work on Peacock's Paul T. Goldman, Netflix series Last Chance U, Wrestlers, and animated comedy Big Mouth. In 2016, Gravitas Ventures released his writing and directing debut, narrative feature dramedy, Echo Lake, which won "Best Director" and "Best Film" in its festival run.
