Babu Yogeswaran

With a career span of 22 years in Visual Media and Journalism, Babu Yogeswaran had an opportunity to explore 6 years career in Journalism before moving to Television and Film Media. He has directed Tamil films titled DASS, a Jayam Ravi starer in 2005 and TAMILARASAN, a Vijay Antony starer in 2019. He has been working as Writer and Director for the upcoming Web-series titled GODMAN, to be premiered in August 2020 by ZEE5. He also worked as Script Writer, Story and Screen Play Writer, Director and Creative Head for 18 Fiction shows TV Industry and also had opportunity to work with leading Production Houses like Radaan Media Works, Balaji Telefilms Ltd., UTV Software Communications etc.

Synopsis: Experience in Journalism as Senior Member of the Editorial teams of various leading Tamil Publications, Dailies, Magazines etc. Worked as Dialog and Screenplay writer for most famous Tamil daily serial Annamalai on Sun TV that involved deep research on the Culture and Social system of Tamil people. Created 18 Fiction shows in various languages of South India in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Written & Directed Tamil film DASS, a Jayam Ravi starer in 2005. Curriculum Designer & Faculty Trainee: Digital Movie Making - LIVE - Loyola College, Chennai - 2015 Academic Year. Curriculum Designer & Faculty Trainee: Digital Journalism - Community College of Loyola College, Chennai - The project has been funded by UGC about 4 Crore Rupees for the Academic Years of 2015-2018. Written & Directed Tamil film TAMILARASAN, a Vijay Antony starer in 2019 which is yet to be released. Written & Directed Web series GODMAN which is to be premiered by ZEE5 in August 2020.
