Katharine McPhee had a glam night out with husband David Foster and friends over the weekend!

The 41-year-old actress/singer and the 75-year-old music producer were joined by Katharine‘s mom Peisha, sister Adriana, and friend Matt Walker for dinner at Cipriani restaurant on Saturday (May 31) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

David composed the music for the new Broadway musical Boop! and he made a surprise appearance at a recent performance to announce the upcoming cast album.

The original Broadway cast recording was just finished and will be released on June 6.

Boop! The Musical is nominated for three Tony Awards, including Best Actress in a Musical for lead star Jasmine Amy Rogers, Best Choreography, and Best Costume Design. It won all three of those awards at the recent Drama Desk Awards!

ABC has set dates for Pat Sajak’s final celebrity edition of Wheel of Fortune and the 2025 Jeopardy! Masters tournament.

Sajak’s final episodes on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, which he co-hosts with Vanna White, will kick off Wednesday, April 30 at 8 pm. It will be followed by the 2025 Jeopardy! Masters tournament, hosted by Ken Jennings, at 9 pm. Both will premiere on ABC and stream next day on Hulu.

Katharine McPhee is preparing to celebrate her 41st birthday and she’s opening up about being comfortable in her body.

The former American Idol contestant and Broadway actress took to her Instagram Stories to mark her final day as a 40-year-old and she shared a photo snapped in her bikini. See pics in the gallery!

“Last day of 40,” Katharine wrote on Instagram. “Getting older, loving myself, loving my body and loving life! 20 year old self had no idea.”

In a recent interview, Katharine explained why she and husband David Foster, 75, don’t make a big deal about their ages.

“Honestly, I think that we’re both very similar in this way,” she told People in November 2024. “I welcomed my 40s, and David didn’t have any conversations about, like, ‘Oh, I can’t believe I’m 75,’ or I didn’t say, like, ‘Oh, I can’t believe I’m 40. I’m really mourning that.

Katharine McPhee has a personal connection to one of the victims who tragically died in the plane collision that occurred in Washington, D.C. this week.

An American Airlines commercial flight collided with a U.S. Military helicopter upon its approach into the D.C. airport on Wednesday (January 29).

67 people died in the accident, including 60 airplane passengers, two pilots and two flight attendants on the plane, and three soldiers on the helicopter. Several passengers were members of the U.S. Figure Skating Team, who were flying home from a skating camp in Wichita, Kansas.

The 75-year-old music producer and his wife Katharine McPhee stepped out to support his daughters Erin and Sara Foster at the awards show on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Erin is the creator of the hit Netflix series Nobody Wants This and both she and Sara served as executive producers on the project. They are nominated for Best Television Series – Comedy or Musical.

Also nominated in the category are Abbott Elementary, The Bear, The Gentlemen, Hacks, and Only Murders in the Building.

Katharine McPhee, Jill Hennessy, Ever Anderson and Ana Mulvoy Ten have joined the murder mystery limited series “The Artist.”

From the free, ad-supported streamer and studio The Network, the Gilded Age-set series also stars previously announced cast members Mandy Patinkin, Janet McTeer, Danny Huston, Patti LuPone, Hank Azaria, Zachary Quinto and Clark Gregg.

The seven-episode series, which will debut in March 2025, follows “an ensemble of the era’s celebrities including Thomas Edison, Edgar Degas and Evelyn Nesbit” as they meet at the home of “an eccentric and failing tycoon,” per the logline. By the end of the night, the mogul is found dead, spurring a historical fiction-themed murder mystery.

McPhee will play early-20th-century vaudeville performer Nora Bayes. Anderson will play Evelyn Nesbit, the woman at the center of the infamous Crime of the Century, while Hennessy will play her mother. Mulvoy Ten will play Lilith, an orphaned dancer from France.

Former American Idol runner-up Clay Aiken had an amazing career after appearing on the reality TV competition series. Married couple David Foster and Katharine McPhee performed “Can’t Help Falling in Love” as she walked the aisle. David actually introduced Pia to Carmen, who is EVP of On Stage Audio International.

Pia has regularly been performing on tour with David and Katharine, most recently hitting the stage with them at the Hollywood Bowl for David‘s 75th birthday concert.

“They are so dear to us, and had it not been for David, I would’ve never met Carmen,” Pia told Brides. “Both he and Katharine are a big part of our story.”

The good news is that it’s easy to watch the awards live. You can tune into ABC from 8/7c tonight, catching all the performances, wins, and more from the comfort of your home. It’s only airing live on ABC.
