Pierre was raised in Oxshott, Surrey where he attended Reeds School but left prematurely to join Italia Conti Musical Theatre School in Barbican, London aged just 14. It is during his time here that Pierre landed his first TV job on a BBC documentary about World War II. Before leaving at aged 16 Mascolo sung a solo at Wembley Arena for a charity event '5 Decades of Love' for the British Heart Foundation.

Pierre's acting education continued by undertaking summer courses at RADA and then attending The Academy of Drama in Whitechapel aged 17 for one year. Pierre now old enough to enrol, began his auditioning process for all the top drama schools in Great Britain. Soon he found his way to the prestigious Drama Centre London, producing such talent as Colin Firth, Pierce Brosnan and Fellow Oscar Nominee Micheal Fassbender, and class mate Tom Hardy. After leaving Drama Centre, Pierre has been steadily working both on stage and on screen from American style plays at the Hackney Empire to TV appearances in EastEnders, Love Soup and Law and Order.

In 2004, Mascolo created his very own Production Company Cipher Films where he produced his first short film the BAFTA nominated Short, NITS. This nomination opened the door to create feature films and in 2006 Pierre was the Executive Producer to the controversial British Movie Kidulthood, where he also starred as drug dealer Andreas. Then in 2008 Pierre reprised the role as SCAR in the feature, Adulthood. After his successful role in the Kidulthood sequel Pierre has continued to work on more roles for British TV.

2013 saw Pierre take on a much bigger part where he juggled roles on both sides of the camera from producer and co-star alongside the legendary Gabriel Byrne in the British cop thriller 'All Things to All Men' which hit worldwide audiences. Working alongside such talent as Toby Stevens and Rufus Sewell and with an array of projects in the pipe line, Pierre's drive doesn't stop and he is currently living with his girlfriend in London.
