Ace director Sundar C’s upcoming family entertainer ‘Coffee With Kadhal’ will hit the screens on November 4, its makers announced on Friday.

Initially, the film was expected to release on October 7. However, the makers have now officially announced the film’s release date as November 4.

The romantic-comedy with a big star cast revolves around three brothers.

“The film is about three brothers played by Srikanth, Jiiva and Jai. All three brothers have characters that are in stark contrast with one another. While Srikanth is an introvert, Jai plays an extrovert in the film. Jiiva strikes a balance being both an introvert and an extrovert.

“The story is based on their romantic relationships, their family bonds, and the problems that erupt between them,” Sundar C had said during the audio and trailer launch of the film.

Popular anchor and actress Divyadarshini, popularly known as Dd to fans and followers, says that her role in her upcoming feel-good romantic entertainer, ‘Coffee with Kadhal’ is pretty much like the role the director of the film, Sundar C, plays in real life.

During a fun chat with all the actors of the film at a recent event organised by the film unit, Dd said, “I play the sister of the three male leads in the film. I am a twin sister to Jiiva, who plays the second brother. While Srikanth plays the elder brother, Jai plays the younger one.

“My character is central to the plot of the film. I am a problem solver and my character is the one that gets along with everyone in the family. She is the one who keeps the family bond strong. She somehow juggles things to set right things like how one solves a Rubics Cube.

Ace director Sundar C, who is known for making rom-coms that work big time, said that his next upcoming romantic, feel-good, comedy entertainer, ‘Coffee with Kadhal’ is a story that revolves around three brothers.

Participating in the audio and trailer launch event of the film which was held at Leela Palace on Monday, Sundar C said: “Coffee with Kadhal is a romantic drama, a family entertainer, a hilarious comedy. It is everything rolled into one. In short, it is a feel good entertainer.”

Actor Jiiva has disclosed that actor Vijay is likely to play the lead in the 100th film of well-known production house, Super Good Films. The production house, which is known for having produced ‘Poove Unnakaaga’, a film that many consider to be the turning point of Vijay’s career, is now in the process of making its 96th film.

At a recent media interaction, actor Jiiva, the son of producer R B Choudhary, who owns Super Good Films known for having introduced several top directors and actors in Tamil cinema, was asked whether Vijay, who got a big break in his career because of the production house, would agree to work in its 100th film.

Jiiva said, “Definitely. I am announcing this on stage. I believe a meeting in this regard took place only a week ago and Vijay sir has told that he would do the 100th film of Super Good Films.
