His career began in the late 90s. From 2001 to 2004, he played in the most popular prime-time Italian TV shows. In the same year, while shooting an International Spot in Cinecittà Studios, he caught the attention of the HBO Talent Scouts, who chose him to play in 'HBO Rome', after an intense Gladiators Fight techniques training.
From 2007 to 2014 learned the Strasberg Method attending the 'Actors Center' classes.
Soon after, followed roles in 'Angels & Demons', 'Nine', 'Duplicity', Amalfi: Megami no hoshu', and 'Apparitions'.
In 2010, has been in the worldwide shortlist for the Lead Role in 'Spartacus: Blood and Sands'. Since then follows: 'Pater Castell', 'Commissario Rex', 'Stratton', 'Ben-Hur', and 'John Wick 2'.
Co-writes and produces Mnemonix: The Hive (2020), which received unexpected worldwide attention in 2020.
In 2021, plays in the Pupi Avati larger-than-life movie: Dante (2022) portraying 'Ser Manetto Donati' and in Mimmo Calopresti 'Romanzo Radicale'.
A major shift comes with a little role in 'Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning' in 2022, who brings directly to 2024 his latest performances: Un posto sicuro (2025), Fatal Day Code (2025) and, most of all, to Joseph Lefevre: Said: Black Blow (2025), where Nico delivers a landmark performance in the lead role: Ramon Reyes.
