Asli Sahin was born in Istanbul. Whilst in Unversity's Theater Club she had participated as an actress in a UNESCO awarded theater project which was put on stage in collaboration with Germany, Israel and Greece.
She was selected for the Talent Campus of 14th International Sarajevo Film Festival.
She acted in TV serials (Broken Pieces, Zengin Kiz Fakir Oglan etc.),TV movies, short films, many commercials for big companies (Pepsi, Burger King, Calgonit, Beko, Siemens, Is Bank etc.) and awarded feature films such as Organic Love Stories, Police, Romantic Comedy and Talisman (Muska).
Being in Istanbul Municipality Theater, one of Turkey's biggest, since 2014, she also worked in many other theaters including Izmit Municipality Theater, Theater Hayal Et, Theater SenAy, Theater Kedi and theater master Ferhan Sensoy's Nobetci Theater and assisted theater master Genco Erkal in Dostlar Theater.
She performs shows and teaches in aerial silks and aerial hoop acrobatics.
She was the jury, advisory board member at the film festivals. She did meeting moderations, gave speeches, did voice overs on the radio, hosted award ceremonies.
She was administrative manager of theater workshops in Nazim Hikmet Foundation and chairwoman of Contemporary Circus Artists Association.
She is a founding member of Actors' Union of Turkey and founding member and board member of Actors' Copyrights Collecting Society (BIROY) since 2009, being the Vice Chairwoman since 2011.
