Lino S. Cayetano

Lino Cayetano was a film graduate of the University of the Philippines and furthered studies in filmmaking in New York. He later on continued teaching Directing in the UP Film Institute. As a director for more than 15 years, he has directed the 35mm feature film I've Fallen For You, and numerous Filipino prime time TV series in ABS-CBN. He was recognized as the Best New Director in 2004 with Starstruck, the first reality based celebrity search show in the country. He has worked with the the Philippines' biggest networks like GMA, ABS-CBN, and TV5 over the years.

From directing, he became a member of the Philippine Congress in 2013 and he then served as Mayor of Taguig City, a highly urbanized city in Metro Manila. Lino founded Rein Entertainment in 2017, Rein has produced content that is streaming on Netflix, iFlix, Tencent TV, and Amazon Prime including Bagman whose lead actor became the first Filipino to win the Best Actor in the Asian Academy Creative Awards in 2020; Betcin which is the national winner for Best Comedy Programme in the Asian Academy Awards in 2022, and Nanahimik Ang Gabi "A Silent Night" which received multiple awards in the Philippines and was the National Winner at the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2023.
