Grasie Mercedes

Grasie Mercedes (born Grecia Maria Mercedes Garcia) is a first-gen Afro-Dominican actress, writer and filmmaker from NYC. She starred as Fay in NBC's Grand Crew, earning an Imagen Award nomination, and guest starred in Season 2 of Poker Face. A former staff writer on NBC's Perfect Harmony, she completed the 2025 NHMC Series Scriptwriters Program, where she wrote Scruples, a YA dramedy inspired by her 12 years of Catholic school. Her earlier pilot, Gracie the Gringa - based on her experience of never quite fitting in - earned her a spot in the program.
