Chaya Supannarat is a director and producer known for her work in action and horror films. Born and raised in Thailand, she was immersed in the film industry from an early age, growing up on movie sets under the influence of her mother, a renowned casting director. She later pursued her passion academically, earning an MFA in Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge, while simultaneously producing two feature films.
Chaya has directed and produced several action and thriller projects, including Bangkok Dog and Gladiator Underground. She is in development for The Last Match, a martial arts-driven film starring Brian Le and DY Sao. Beyond action, she has a deep passion for horror films and is working on projects like House by the Lake and Gumaan, which aim to bring deeply emotional and terrifying ghost stories to the screen.
With a strong eye for practical stunt work and a love for dark, atmospheric storytelling, Chaya continues to push the boundaries of both action and horror cinema, bringing unique and chilling narratives to life.
