Jüri Aarma(1951-2019)

Jüri Aarma is a Soviet and Estonian actor, singer, radio host, journalist, showman. In 1956, he and his family moved to Estonian SSR, to the city of Pärnu, where he grew up. From an early age he studied music and vocals. Graduated from music school, piano class. In 1974 he graduated from the acting department (department of stagecraft) of the Tallinn State Conservatory. In 1975-1996 he worked at the State Youth Theater of the Estonian SSR in Tallin. Since 1975 he has acted in films. Performed roles in the films Granitnye ostrova (1976), Pihlakaväravad (1982), Faust (1982), Näkimadalad (1989).
