Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, he discovered his passion for performing at age thirteen when his spirited energy landed him a leading role in an off-Broadway production. This early success led to a series of acting opportunities throughout his youth, including while attending Xavier High School in NYC.
From a young age, Malek immersed himself in all facets of the entertainment industry, performing on dozens of stages and film sets across the globe. His drive for growth and mastery earned him a B.A., M.A., and PhD credits from Fordham University, Juilliard, and UCLA.
