Everyone loves a good game show. Where else can you watch Steve from Redditch win a canteen of cutlery just for knowing the capital of Tobago?

Game shows are a light hearted staple of our TV schedules. We can rely on them to be entertaining without demanding too much in return (apart from Only Connect). They are the TV equivalent of a warm bath or a nice pair of slippers. And what's more, the whole family can enjoy them. 92 year old grandma visiting? Best leave Game Of Thrones and opt for some Bullseye instead. Kids up late? Stick on some Family Fortunes...

It's exactly five weeks until the General Election and with the first week of campaigning nearly finished, all seven main party leaders turned up to ITV Studios tonight (April 2) to debate four main issues and tell voters their policies.

David Cameron for the Conservatives, Ed Miliband the Labour Party, the Lib Dem's Nick Clegg, Nigel Farage of Ukip, leader of the Green Party Natalie Bennet, Nicola Sturgeon for the Snp and Leanne Wood of Plaid Cymru all took to their podiums and discussed the economy, immigration, the NHS and education.

Aled Jones and Lorraine Kelly's launch show for the new-look Daybreak has had a frosty reception from fans online. The duo began their tenure as hosts of the troubled ITV1 breakfast TV franchise yesterday (September 3), but fans have already begun calling for former presenters Dan Lobb and Kate Garraway to be reinstalled. Lobb and Garraway filled in as hosts of the show after original presenters Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley were axed in 2011. A huge number of viewers have taken to the Daybreak Facebook page to criticise the show's overhaul, which many have compared to previous ITV breakfast show GMTV. One viewer said: "It looks like TV-am threw up all over the Daybreak set, and then kidnapped the presenters of GMTV." Jenny Cheney wrote: "We want Dan and Kate back - it was a winning (more)...
