The new adaptation of Kiss of the Spider Woman that stars Jennifer Lopez is close to a sale after premiering at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Roadside Attractions, Lionsgate and Ld Entertainment are in final negotiations to acquire domestic distribution rights for the musical feature. Diego Luna, Tonatiuh and Tony Dovolani round out the cast for director Bill Condon’s film that hails from Artists Equity and Mohari Media.

Kiss of the Spider Woman is based on playwright Terrence McNally’s stage musical that debuted on Broadway in 1993 and adapted Manuel Puig’s 1976 novel of the same name. Condon penned the script, and the film features music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb.

Dancing With The Stars host Alfonso Ribeiro injured his ankle during a dance number at Disney World.

Alfonso was visible in several Disney World-based TikTok videos on Sunday, and he appeared to be rehearsing a parade dance number with DWTS' Julianne Hough.

In several of the clips, Alfonso and Julianne are seen from various vantage points, dancing along a parade route on the park's Main Street, USA.

Watching the clips with the knowledge Alfonso ultimately sustained a minor injury was a little stressful, as in each one, the reality TV host was filmed repeatedly dancing over trolley tracks in the center of the street.

After a heartfelt clips package remembering the beloved but often critical scorer, pro dancers took the floor in black tuxes and flowing white ball gowns for a Waltz set to Henry Mancini’s “Moon River.” The Oscar-winning song was a favorite of Goodman’s.

The number was choreographed by Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson and performed by past pro dancers Kym Herjavec, Anna Trebunskaya, Karina Smirnoff, Edyta Sliwinska, Tony Dovolani, Louis van Amstel, Maks Chmerkovskiy and Mark Ballas.

During the show’s “Most Memorable Year” week, multiple former pro dancers reunited with current pros for a number dedicated to Len Goodman. The dance was choreographed by married duo and current pros Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson.

The October 24 episode of Dancing With the Stars is more than the traditional “Most Memorable Year” show. Eight, count ‘em, eight “Og” dance pros are coming back to the program to take part in a special dance to honor late lead judge Len Goodman, who passed away in April at the age of 78. THR reports that Somers died on Sunday, Oct. 15, while surrounded by loving family members in her California home. This follows a battle with breast cancer that had gone on for more 23 years. Somers' publicist, R. Couri Hay, confirmed the news with a statement shared on behalf of the family. She was 76 years old, passing just one day shy of turning 77.

Fox has found its new So You Think You Can Dance judge.

Leah Remini will join the long-running competition show next week as Sytycd enters its live phase. She takes over for Matthew Morrison, who exited the show on May 27 after violating its competition production protocols, and joins fellow judges Stephen “Twitch” Boss and Jojo Siwa.

Remini will make her first appearance on the June 15 episode, which is also the long-running show’s 300th installment.

“I am thrilled to join So You Think You Can Dance on its milestone 300th episode,” said Remini in a statement. “I look forward to guiding these incredibly talented artists through this competition as a fan of the show and a great admirer of dancers. Maksim Chmerkovskiy married his longtime fiancée Peta Murgatroyd in a ceremony at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York.

From the looks of photos and video posted from guests, it was a glitzy affair complete with all the bells and whistles of a royal ceremony.

Chmerkovskiy, 37, wore a classic white tuxedo with silk lapels and a bowtie. But Murgatroyd, 30, stole the show in an off-the-shoulder A-line gown by Karen Sabag Couture with lots of detailing across the bust and the skirt, reports E! News. She also wore her hair in a topknot and carried a big bouquet of white flowers.

Some of the star-studded guests included Rumer Willis, Candace Cameron Bure and Tony Dovolani.
