Biography

Manlio Roseano is an Italian director, writer and producer. He starts studying film history, semiotics and film theory in 1992. After University in Rome, he moves to London where he graduates in 1997 as director and producer from The London International Film School, after two years course on film technique. He also works in every department of the film industry by joining the productions of many short films. During his long experience, he works with master director Manoel De Oliveira and attends the Master Classes on film technique and directing at the Media Workshop in Rockport - Maine and at the Rutger Hauer Film Factory in Rotterdam. He writes and directs a feature film and a few short films awarded in several festivals internationally. Since 2009, he is a script doctor and project development consultant for the entertainment law firm FS-Law in Rome. He is active as writer, director and producer in Munich, Germany, covering International Co-productions within the EU and UK area.
