About 2015's "The Sunshine Makers," which Connie wrote and produced, Manohla Dargis said: "...there's no question that hanging out with Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn on acid has its appeal."

Connie has an MFA degree in filmmaking from NSCAD University and works as a writer, researcher, and producer on all kinds of documentaries.
