Nick Foster is a multiple BAFTA-winning composer of music for television, film and games, originally from Liverpool, and now based at AIR Studios, London.
Forthcoming work for 2024 includes The Ballad Of Renegade Nell for Disney +, Lover Stalker Killer for Netflix / Curious Films, and The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin for Apple TV / Big Talk, with frequent collaborator Oli Julian.
Notable recent TV work includes Kayleigh Llewellyn's In My Skin (Expectation / BBC), which won Best Drama at both the BAFTAs and the RTS Awards 2022, Shakespeare : Rise Of A Genius (72 Films / BBC), and All Or Nothing: Arsenal for Amazon Prime. Other documentary work includes Devil's Advocate (Wonderhood / Sky Documentaries), Caught Out (Passion Pictures / Netflix) and How Girl Power Changed Britain (72 Films / Channel Four). Scripted comedy work includes Year Of The Rabbit (IFC/Channel 4), Timewasters (ITV2) and Cuckoo (BBC One). He is also known for his work on the Derren Brown specials for Netflix/Channel 4, and ITV's long-running animated series, Thunderbirds Are Go, on which Nick collaborated with brother Ben Foster, and for which they were BAFTA, MAS and BAA nominated.
In film, Nick scored and arranged songs for Coky Giedroyc's 2023 movie musical Greatest Days, based on the iconic songs of Take That, with Oli Julian, and scored Sam Hobkinson's feature documentary Misha And The Wolves, which premiered at Sundance. Previously, his work has featured in Ryan Gosling's Blue Valentine and Creating Freedom - Lottery of Birth, nominated for Best Documentary at Raindance.
Nick also works in video games, scoring Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which received a BAFTA Games Awards nomination for Best Music. His many credits in advertising include work with directors including Jonathan Glazer, Henry Alex Rubin, Kim Gehrig, Billy Boyd Cape and Nick Gordon.
His work has been recognised with awards including two BAFTAs for his work on Derren Brown : Apocalypse and The Cube, three D&AD pencils, two British Arrows, a Clio, an MAS and a couple of Kinsale Sharks.
