  • Went from Punk Rocker to Latter-day saint. Kane is one of two notable glam rockers who were LDS, the other being English guitarist Mick Ronson who helped shoot David Bowie to fame during his Ziggy Stardust period. However, Kane was a convert in later years, whereas Ronson's LDS connection was a family one. Kane's conversion was sincere, whereas Ronson's later involvement is a subject of debate. Both musicians had LDS funerals, with Arthur requesting "A Poor Wayfaring Man of.Grief" be played at his.
