An avid historian, Scot grew up in sports-heavy western Pennsylvania.
Raised in Bridgewater, a small town on the banks of the Beaver River, Scot's passion for history led him to the hobby of Civil War Re-enacting, a hobby he continues to this day. His knowledge is not limited to Civil War, though. In addition to research, he has coordinated historical scenes for PBS' "The War That Made America", about the French and Indian War, been an assistant costumer for "Fields of Freedom" about the battle of Gettysburg and coordinated unique action sequences for an upcoming History Channel documentary on the Battle of Antietam.
Scot Has served in many capacities in front of the camera and behind the scenes. He has served as a reenactor coordinator, wardrobe designer, art department, props, among other roles.
He has achieved a Master degree in History from Slippery Rock University as well as a Bachelor's in History from Penn State. He earned as B.S. In Secondary Education from Slippery Rock University. Scot teaches at Lincoln High School in Ellwood City, PA and occasionally is an adjunct instructor for Butler County Community College. He is married and resides in Beaver County, Pennsylvania.
