Zoya Afroz

Zoya Afroz is an Indian actress and model working predominantly in the Hindi film industry. Apart from films, she worked in the television industry and made her OTT debut in 2021. Furthermore, she has starred in several music videos throughout the years.
Afroz studied at RN Shah High School in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She got her undergraduate degree in commerce from Mithibai College, Mumbai.
Afroz debuted in the television industry with the series Kora Kagaz (1998) in 1998. She went on to work as a child artist in Bollywood with Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United (1999) and was a part of Mann (1999), Kuch Naa Kaho (2003) and From Tia with Love (2005).
Later, she appeared in the hit fantasy television series Son Pari (2000) as Fruity's friend. She also played the role of Goddess Parvati in the series Jai Mata Ki on DD National.
Afroz ventured into the Punjabi industry at 17 with the film Sadi Gali Aaya Karo (2015). She made her Bollywood debut as an adult with the film, The Xpose (2014) alongside Himesh Reshammiya, Irrfan Khan, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Sonali Raut.
She went on to appear in other Bollywood films like Sweetiee Weds NRI (2017), Contact Killer (2020), Kabaad- The Coin (2021) etc.
She debuted in the Tamil film industry with Thamizhan Endru Sol.
Afroz made her OTT debut with the web series Matsya Kaand (2021) on MX Player and went on to appear in Mukhbir - The Story of a Spy (2022)as Jamila on Zee 5.
She also appeared in several music videos, including Gajendra Verma: Raati Saanu (2018) by Gajendra Verma, Suno Na (2020) by Arko Pravo Mukherjee and Neeti Mohan, Galat Bande (2020) by R. Nait, Kulwinder Billa: Dil Lai La (2021) by Kulwinder Billa, Rab Kare Tu Bhi (2021) by Yograj Koushal, etc.
Afroz participated in the Femina Miss Indore Contest 2013 at 18. She won the contest, participated in the Femina Miss India 2013 and was crowned the second runner-up. She won the title of Miss India International 2013 in the Femina Miss India 2013 contest.
She also participated in the Glamanand Supermodel India contest, winning many titles, including best evening gown, top model and miss glamorous eyes.
She also represented India in the Miss International 2022 contest held in Japan.
Afroz won the Beauty Queen of the Year at the Bharat Ratna Dr Ambedkar Awards in 2013 and the best actress at the Life OK Screen Awards in 2013 for The Xpose (2012).
