Ece Yorenc born on October 20th, 1962, Istanbul- Turkey, attended Ankara University, Language History and Geography Faculty. Her career as a scriptwriter started in 1992.

In 2005 the Drama "Yaprak Dökümü" ('Fallen Leaves') which was a prime time Tv adaptation of a famous classical Turkish Novel, was the turning point for her career. The drama lasted for 5 Turkish seasons and achieved enormous success in Turkey. Her other Drama hits were TV series for Turkish television stations..
