A Private War is directed by Matthew Heineman and stars Rosamund Pike as famed wartime correspondent journalist Marie Colvin, capturing her life from 1986 until her death in Homs Syria at the hands of the regime she was fighting against to highlight the atrocities they were undertaking. Hope takes on the titular role, Catherine of Aragon, who is promised in marriage to the future King of England Prince Arthur (played by Angus Imrie). Catherine is described as “the source of curiosity, resentment and suspicion among her new family.” When Prince Arthur dies shortly after their wedding, Catherine finds her future as Queen in question and at the mercy of a divided Tudor court under the threat of enemies both abroad and closer to home.

While Fortitude may not be technically cancelled, it is coming to an end. Sky Atlantic has renewed its Fortitude TV show for a third and final season. According to the press release, Foritude season three will be a four-part mini-series, with a release date still Tbd. The first two seasons of Fortitude are available on Amazon in the Us. Right now, I'm disturbed by a hubbub outside the window. A whopping great tractor is trying and failing to park in a cul-de-sac just over the road. No great surprise about that in theory – except that I've seen bigger cul-de-sacs in Trumpton. Appearing at the Doctor Who panel at Comic-Con, executive producer Julie Gardner dismissed claims that they were prepping a script for David Tennant to reprise his role as the Tenth Doctor for a big-screen adventure.
