To the consternation of some fans, Lostdidn't resolve all of its mysteries by the time the series ended. To others, this means still being able to ponder, theorize and wonder about "what it all means." One of the most controversial and confusing narrative devices was the "Flash-Sideways World" in Lost Season 6, but one of the final episodes may have offered up a clue about it. Interestingly, the first scene in Season 6 subtly spoils the Flash-Sideways World twist, when Rose tells Jack he needs to "let go." Later, Bernard returns from the bathroom, saying, "remind me to hold it next time."

When James Mangold announced A Complete Unknown, a film delving into Bob Dylan’s transformative rise to folk and rock legend, fans quickly began speculating about what other real-life people would show up in A Complete Unknown. Many legendary artists crossed paths with Bob Dylan, including none other than Johnny Cash, who Dylan formed a real-life friendship with. This made the Man in Black’s inclusion seem likely, sparking curiosity over who might play the iconic musician. For many, there was one obvious choice

Adaptations of Stephen King's works are often hit or miss. While some efforts translate to the big screen rather well with competent screenplays, others fail to grasp the core appeal of the source material. Plus, there are also those that inhabit the grey area of commendable effort and middling execution, with foundational aspects of King's fiction inevitably getting lost in the visual medium. However, even the most under-the-radar King adaptations have had their (rightful) resurgence over the years, such as 1997's "The Night Flier," which tells an unconventionally chilling vampire tale despite its glaring flaws. Moreover, new releases such as Gary Dauberman's "Salem's Lot" have become a streaming hit on Max despite receiving unfavorable reviews for leaving a lot to be desired.
But what about a highly-anticipated, yet ultimately disappointing adaptation that was both a critical and commercial failure? Well, Netflix has accomplished the improbable again. Nikolaj Arcel...

The Dark Tower (2017), will be coming to Netflix on Dec. 1. The film version starred Idris Elba as The Last Gunslinger and Matthew McConaughey as the villainous Man In Black. The film is set in an alternative world where western-like gunslingers fight to protect reality and the fall of the Dark Tower to dark forces.
The film did not perform as hoped at the box office, making just $113 million on a $66 million budget. Co-writer of the film Akiva Goldsman felt the reason behind the failure was due to "pieces shifting" and "too many points of view." The movie holds a 16% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an audience score of 44%.

Four-time Academy Award nominee Ed Harris has starred in his fair share of movie and TV westerns, always delivering a memorable turn no matter what his character calls for. Whether starring as the Man in Black in Westworld or playing Virgil Cole in the underrated Appaloosa, it's apparent that Harris has a fondness for playing cowboys along the American frontier.
In 2013, Harris starred in a lesser-known western called Sweetwater by filmmaking siblings Logan and Noah Miller. Despite a few overwrought dramatic sequences, the epic showdowns, blazing gunfights, and visceral action scenes help compensate. Now that the film is available to stream on Prime Video, giving subscribers an idea of what to expect, where the movie excels, and how Ed Harris and co-star Jason Isaacs save will help decide if Sweetwater is digestible.

The Strangers shocked horror enthusiasts in 2008 when it subverted many classic horror movie tropes. The movie quickly became a cult classic, raking in $82.4 million at the box office despite its initial mixed critical reception. The sequel, The Strangers: Prey at Night, was less successful and was largely regarded as a disappointment compared to the original movie. Both films retraced the gruesome events of a homicidal home invasion scenario where three masked people only known as Dollface, Pin-Up Girl, and Man in the Mask, torment a couple after knocking on their doors and asking for Tamara.

Halloween TV show may fix a major franchise mistake by bringing back Dr. Wynn. Dr. Wynn's new storyline could rewrite the franchise's worst timeline: the Cult of Thorn. The show can also answer a 46-year-old plot hole about Michael Myers and his ability to drive a car.
The Halloween franchise is expanding with a TV show that will go back to the original movie, and thanks to this and one often-forgotten character, the show can fix one of the franchise’s biggest mistakes. Back in 1979, John Carpenter brought Halloween, which would become key in the development of the slasher genre as well as a horror classic. Halloween also made way for a franchise with 10 movies and two remakes, as well as different timelines, each one giving different explanations for Michael Myers’ evil actions and with different outcomes for his Final Girls.

The success of Columbo offered a singular opportunity for big stars to guest on the hit mystery television series. The show's "howcatchem" formula placed special emphasis on the week's new murderer, depicting how they committed a "perfect" crime only for Peter Falk's shambling detective to tear their carefully crafted alibi to shreds.
That allowed many well-known actors to make appearances on the show. The series provided meaty, substantive parts, and it was hard for an actor to resist playing a clever killer who thinks they can get away with it. A-list performers were regulars, including ten of the most famous listed below.

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers is considered the worst film in the franchise, with a poor rating on Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic. The movie was criticized for its convoluted plot, lack of suspense, and reliance on typical slasher tactics. Quentin Tarantino had an intriguing concept for Halloween 6, involving a road trip with Michael Myers and the Man in Black, but ultimately passed on the project, potentially missing an opportunity to improve the franchise.
For a franchise as vast as Halloween, it's no secret there are a few duds in the bunch, and one of the most memorably bad installments is Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers, which could have actually been saved if this famous directors had taken the reins. This List Contains Spoilers For Season One For The Rings Of Power!
After weeks of continuous theorizing, the season 1 finale of The Rings of Power has given the best evidence yet that the mysterious Stranger is none other than the beloved grey wizard, Gandalf. While some, including the cultists from the East, thought he could be Sauron, and others speculated that he might even be The Man in the Moon from Hobbit folklore (or an enigmatic Blue Wizards), the clues did point to Gandalf after he spoke that iconic line. Unfortunately, with season 2 ages, there's a way out before viewers discover this truth.
However, the showrunners have teased a more canonical and intense season following the creative liberties taken with the lore and timeline during the first. Something to look forward to is the introduction of Círdan the Shipwright, an important Elf who once claimed Narya, the Ring of Fire.

[This interview contains major spoilers for episode seven of Westworld season 4, “Metanoia.”]
In the penultimate episode of Westworld season four, Charlotte Hale’s new world order is crushed by the hands of several hosts.
That includes host William (Ed Harris), whose embracement of his human counterpart’s violent, nihilistic tendencies doesn’t just bring Hale’s tower crashing down, but whose’s arrival as — or return to — the Man in Black sees quite a few of Westworld‘s most prominent characters catch a bullet from his very gun.
Among them is this season’s omniscient host Bernard, played by Jeffrey Wright, who in episode seven comes face-to-face with the show’s original villain in Hale’s (Tessa Thompson) tower — her hub for putting humans in loops and making the world into her park.
Death is a fate that Bernard would have seemingly wanted to avoid, but in crunch time reveals is a fate out of his control.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Westworld Season 4, Episode 4, “Generation Loss.”] Well, looks like The Man in Black (Ed Harris) and James Delos (Peter Mullan) aren’t the only Westworld characters answering questions for an ominous baseline interview. Caleb Nichols (Aaron Paul) is “in the thing” now, too. After dying at the Delos construction site 23 years ago, Hale-ores (Tessa Thompson) recreated him hundreds of times as part of a mysterious experiment, testing the host version of him for fidelity. But what is “fidelity,” and where have we seen it on the show before? Here’s what you need to remember about hosts with human consciousnesses and the tests they undergo. The First Experiments Were in Season 2 The first human to submit to fidelity testing was James Delos, the founder of the Delos Corporation. As we learned in “Riddle of the Sphinx,” human Delos died of an incurable disease… but not before having a pivotal conversation with...

Lost bosses Carlton Cuse (arriving in full Imperial Stormtrooper regalia) and Damon Lindelof served up quite a treat at Entertainment Weekly‘s “Totally Lost: One Year Later” San Diego Comic-Con event on Friday. After some to-and-fro over whether to let some “never seen” Lost footage see the light of day, the duo agreed to show the crowd an edit of the Season 1 finale that they didn’t use, for fear that it revealed too much about how the series would eventually end.
