Belinda Lindsey has one of the best arcs in The White Lotus. She came out unscathed in Season 3, and her career prospects are looking bright; she can afford to quit her job at the White Lotus Hawaii. In an interview with Variety, Natasha Rothwell celebrated her character's newfound agency. She also has a message for fans who called out Belinda for leaving Pornchai, who was last seen pining for her in the finale.

"That pisses me off," she said. "People are just like, 'Oh, you just left Pornchai (played by Dom Hetrakul) on the side of the road.' She f—-- the dude one night. She had a one-night stand.

In season 3 of the supposed anthology series "The White Lotus" (which creator Mike White set in Thailand after visiting Hawai'i and Italy in the show's first two outings), audiences get to reconnect with Belinda Lindsey (played by Natasha Rothwell), a spa employee who first showed up in Maui back in season 1. Belinda visits the Thailand outpost of the fictional White Lotus chain to learn from the wellness staff there, largely because this location bills itself as being hyper-focused on wellness. However, she ends up getting a lot more than she bargained for.

I should rephrase that. Belinda ends up quite literally bargaining for $5 million dollars from her old acquaintance Greg Hunt (Jon Gries), whom she met back in Maui, so that she'll continue to keep his many, many secrets. While that's certainly not what Belinda thought would happen in Thailand, that's how everything shook out. So, does Rothwell think Belinda is evil now?...

“The White Lotus” breakout Dom Hetrakul has signed on to star in “Debt Sentence,” a buzzy Thai crime-horror film headed to the Cannes Film Market.

The project marks the feature directorial debut of Warun Siriprachai and is based on the viral short film “How to Run Away From Your Debt,” which racked up multi-million views online.

The film centers around Suchart, played by Yasaka Chaisorn a man whose wife, played by Sawanee Utoomma and child were murdered in their apartment. Suchart, the suspected perpetrator of the crimes, is determined to prove his innocence and find the culprit of the crime, played by Hetrakul.

Hetrakul, who previously appeared in “The Man with the Iron Fists 2,” gained significant visibility from HBO’s “The White Lotus” Season 3, which shattered the series’ viewership records with its finale drawing 6.2 million viewers.

Bangkok-based Night Edge Pictures is backing the project alongside production studio Wilan Prumpara and producer Panida Ngamsompong.

Following the Season 3 finale of The White Lotus, Natasha Rothwell is shutting down critics of Belinda’s “good for her” moment.

The 2x Emmy nominee defended the character’s choice to leave Thailand after successfully blackmailing Greg (Jon Gries) to stay quiet about him likely killing his late wife Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge), reasoning that it doesn’t mean Belinda has an evil streak.

“I don’t think so,” she told People. “I think her heart is good, but I do think that she was flirting with being a baddie by taking this money. So I don’t think she’ll turn bad, but I do think there’s maybe a consequence by all those decisions have, sort of that yin and yang.”

Rothwell thinks Belinda could suffer consequences in a future season “as a result of the decision she made,” adding: “Who knows? I don’t even know if she’s coming back.

The third season of The White Lotus ended on Sunday night with a record 6.2 million viewers watching the finale live on HBO and Max. (That's a 51 percent jump over the previous season's finale.) During and after the 90-minute episode, the Gold Derby forums were abuzz with comments good and bad, with people giving a specific shout-out to one actor who they thought got an Emmy boost. They also reacted to some of the show's various twists, and sounded off about the Season 4 location rumors.

Following the finale, Carrie Coon skyrocketed up Gold Derby's Emmy chart for Best Drama Supporting Actress. Her character, Laurie, delivered an emotional monologue in which she declared, "I have no belief system," which instantly went viral on social media. As a result, Allison Janney (The Diplomat) dropped to second place in our rankings, with The White Lotus costar Parker Posey as Victoria remaining in third.

After conceding that he isn’t a violent man, Gaitok (Tayme Thapthimthong) finds himself at a crossroads. On one side, there is nonviolence, his Buddhist upbringing, and leaving the job he takes such pride in to pursue other avenues; in the other direction, accepting the option or at least the reality of violence will further his current career, and possibly his relationship with Lisa Manobal’s Mook, who is weirdly rigid about his options. There is a sense that her interest hinges up his machismo and his job title,...

Up until season 3, most fans agreed that Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) was the only major character on the show to actually be a good person. Everyone else is shown to have some sort of dark side by the entirety of their respective seasons, but throughout season 1, Belinda harms no one. Her only crime is putting too much trust in Tanya (McQuoid Jennifer Coolidge), a mega-rich woman who offers to give Belinda the money she needs to start a wellness business and then doesn't follow through.

The storyline was a poignant tale of the way rich people can cause so much distress to the lower-class people around them without even realizing it. Tanya barely seems to understand that she's been taunting Belinda with a golden lottery ticket all season. Eight weeks after it began, “The White Lotus” Season 3 has finally come to an end. It has been a wild, tense ride — one full of some of the show’s most astonishing highs (Sam Rockwell’s Emmy-worthy monologue) and frustrating lows (Jason Isaacs’ circular story week-in-and-week-out). Early on, “The White Lotus” Season 3 suggested that it was going to be the series’ darkest, most introspective and most cynical season to date. Its finale, titled “Amor Fati,” proved that to be true.

A fever dream of an episode, the “White Lotus” Season 3 finale delivers all the shocking moments that viewers wanted, as well as fitting endings for all of its characters. Even the season’s happy endings, however, carry with them a dark, acidic edge, one that reminds us yet again that success in a capitalistic world always requires sacrifice of some kind.

“The White Lotus” Season 3 finale was a bloodbath that ended up with two dead and one red herring.

The finale brought all the stories crashing back together for the mysterious shootout we briefly heard playing out back in the premiere. The biggest questions were who was firing the gun, who was caught in the crossfire, and who was the body Zion (Nicholas Duvernay) found floating in the river — and whether it was even connected to the shooting or not.

All season long it has been anyone’s guess who would end up dead. Tim (Jason Isaacs) has been having suicidal fantasies for half the episodes, Rick (Walton Goggins) has been on a revenge-fueled manhunt for the person responsible for his father’s death, and Gaitok seemed to have finally figured out who robbed the resort.

Woody Harrelson almost joined Mike White in Thailand for “The White Lotus” Season 3, but his own family vacation plans got in the way.

Harrelson, who was in the running to play either Walton Goggins’ Rick or Sam Rockwell’s Frank, was speculated to have turned down the roles because of producer David Bernad’s policy that all “White Lotus” cast members get paid the same. However, in a statement released to The Daily Beast, Harrelson revealed that he passed on “The White Lotus” because of his own family vacation.

“I was set to do ‘White Lotus’ and very excited. Unfortunately, their production schedule shifted, and conflicted with a pre-planned family vacation, forcing me to make an extremely hard decision,” he said. “Things must be meant to be though, because I couldn’t have done as fantastic a job as Sam, who is killing it.”

The hit series is reportedly being watched by 15 million viewers in the US per episode, with the Season 3 premiere reaching 18 million viewers. This is, of course, the modus operandi of Mike White's not-quite-anthology series about tourism, wealth, whiteness, and selfishness. Tourists -- many of them white, rich, and unbearable -- come to an idyllic resort for a week, and at the end of the week, one of them dies. It's dark, funny, and absurdist. So why does it feel so much more stressful this time around?

It appears this season is on track to be the biggest one yet, as HBO says that episodes are pacing more than 5M viewers ahead of last season. Season 2 ultimately averaged around 15.5M U.S. viewers per episode.

On a global scale, HBO says that each Season 3 episode has hit a viewing high, though the company didn’t provide any numbers for viewership outside the U.S.

When it comes to TV dramas that get romantic at some point, perhaps the one you'd think about the least is HBO'sThe White Lotus. The drama is about rich people facing all sorts of adversities in fancy resorts and often focusing on the wicked, the weird, and the greedy. Love isn't exactly part of the equation, for the most part. However, Season 3 has seen one of its characters grow in that regard. Per the company, 3.4M U.S. cross-platform viewers tuned in for the second episode on Sunday night, which marks a 40% increase over the premiere episode’s 2.4M.

Speaking of the premiere, it has now amassed 10.2M viewers in the U.S., up 92% from the Season 2 premiere episode’s audience in the first week of availability. In terms of same-day viewers, the second episode of Season 3 is also already outperforming the second episode of Season 2, boding well for the remainder of the season.

The White Lotus is now apparently the second largest returning original series in platform history, behind only House of the Dragon Season 2.

The second episode opens with Jaclyn and Kate chatting after hours about Laurie. Their initial gushing, which had a tinge of fakeness, turns into gossip about her divorce and her palimony payments. They then turn their gossip to Laurie's daughter Ellie and her acting out, criticizing Laurie's choice to raise her in New York City, and then to Laurie's career... and her drinking.

Sure, the drama from Emmy-winning creator and showrunner Mike White centers on the darker shades of humanity — and systematically climaxes in at least one death of a character we have come to love over their one-week stay in paradise. But the backdrops of Hawaii, Sicily and now Thailand are mouthwatering and awe-inspiring enough that we can forgive little things like murder and manipulation if it means enjoying a chilled cocktail, a pool full of eye candy and a bottle of Spf 50 in the lead-up to disaster.

“The White Lotus” Season 3 might feature its most exotically intoxicating locale yet: Thailand. The series has built its reputation through incisive and lurid depictions of American wealth, tensions between class and race and other taboos that keep the human condition ticking.

Those checking in to Season 3 of Max’s The White Lotus will enjoy an eight-episode stay across eight Sundays.

The luxurious hotel drama series returns for another installment — it’s longest yet, and this time set in Thailand — mid-February. That’s a 57% increase over Season 2’s premiere night, which saw 1.5M tune in, and it’s an impressive 155% higher than the 944,000 who watched the Season 1 premiere when it debuted.

In the 36 hours post-premiere the Season 3 debut has already grown its audience 90% to 4.6M viewers HBO says.

It’s expected that the audience for the premiere episode will continue to tally an even larger audience over the next few weeks. Per HBO, the previous seasons saw the premieres grow seven to eight times beyond the night they aired on the network. Season 1’s premiere went on to average 9.3M viewers, while Season 2’s amassed 15.5M.

HBO also says that, in the week leading up to the Season 3 premiere, there was an 84% increase in volume of viewers catching up on the previous seasons compared...

The White Lotus season 3 will debut on HBO in just two weeks, and creator Mike White has teased that the new season will be “much, much darker” than the others.

“I do feel like the other seasons were a rehearsal for this one,” White told Time. “There’s stuff that I’ve never directed before.” The new season is set at an exclusive Thai resort and follows the exploits of various guests and employees over the course of a week. “They’re all in some kind of hurt,” White said of the new guests. “Like, they’re all dead, but they don’t know it…because it’s dealing with these existential tropes of facing into the nothingness of self [and] Buddhist themes that have life and death and ethical aspects, [the season] just got more heavy.“
