Mashle: Magic and Muscles captivated anime fans with its mix of hilarious antics and fantastical world-building. The series follows Mash Burnedread, a boy who was born without the ability to use magic in a world where everyone else can cast spells. If anyone discovers Mash's secret, he'll be persecuted for his struggles. In order to continue living peacefully with his adoptive grandfather, MAsh must first become a Divine Visionary at Easton Magic Academy.
It shouldn't be an easy task, as Mash lacks all access to magic, but he makes it work with a super strength that allows him to perform inhuman feats, anyway. For now, the Mashle anime may be over. However, a sequel series was announced in May 2024. While fans wait for new content to satiate their appetite for magical fantasies and the super strength that rivals them, they will likely need other anime to keep them occupied in the meantime.

The most iconic aspect of any great shonen anime is its protagonist. Main characters can make or break an anime - particularly in the shonen genre. Therefore, when the main character is written to be irritating, it can grate on fans’ nerves. Whenever a new shonen anime drops, it’s a toss-up about whether the protagonist will be insufferable. Yet, when they are annoying, they can go straight from perplexing to awful.
The worst, most annoying shonen anime main characters can be constantly whiny. They cry at the drop of a hat or explain their problems so much that audiences wish they would talk about something else. Maybe the characters have saccharine personalities or are so overpowered that there are no stakes in their shows. Whatever the case may be, these are some of the most annoying anime protagonists to grace audiences' screens in recent memory.

Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun is still an extremely popular anime and manga series that fans refuse to flush. Now, the steaming hot second season of the anime is on the way, and subscribers to one streaming service won't have to wait much longer.
Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun Season 2 is coming in the middle of January 2025, and the show's subbed version will be available to watch on Hulu the day afterward. This gives fans time to catch up and watch the first season for the first time or all over again. This comes long after said first season and two "seasons" of a comical spinoff show, giving viewers a lot of content to "wipe" away before Season 2 drops.

Anime might be most well known for tackling genres like action and romance, but the best anime comedies are some of the funniest TV series to ever exist. While dramas and intense battle shonen have always risen to the top of popularity lists, comedy is just as important to the history of anime. After all, comedy is enjoyable no matter what genre of anime fans prefer.
Laughing is the perfect way to wind down after a long day, and funny anime series are a good distraction when life is a bit too much. With so much happening worldwide in the last few years, anime fans need comedy and a few laughs more than ever, and these series are the perfect way to unwind. Anime is a unique medium and the best anime comedies all use the versatility of animation to enhance gags that were already funny on a conceptual level.

Shōnen Jump has long since made a name for itself as the biggest manga magazine in the world. Not only has it consistently had the highest circulation of any manga magazine in Japan, but it’s birthed some of the most iconic manga of all time like Dragon Ball, One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, so there’s no denying how big it is to the world of anime and manga.
Some of history’s most iconic manga came out of Shōnen Jump, but that can’t be said for every one of their works. In addition to Shōnen Jump manga that were canceled too soon, some manga, even when they do get a chance to tell their stories properly, never leave much of an impact on people, so whatever the case, plenty of great Shōnen Jump manga were unceremoniously forgotten due to how little impact they left during or after their runs.

Shnen is one of the most popular genres in anime. It's a genre targeting boys and young men, featuring amazing fights, awesome world-building, and some of the best friendships around. While it might not seem so, friendships are huge in shnen anime. Most protagonists have a best friend they can rely on, helping to push them to new heights. Some of the best friendships in shnen aren't between the protagonist, but between two other characters who have each other's backs no matter what.
To be a good friendship in shnen, the two characters need to trust each other completely. They need to be able to rely on each other, and they also need to be able to push each other. A good friend knows their friend's limit, but also believes in them enough to help them surpass their limits too.

Art requires both inspiration and perspiration, creativity and effort. Inspiration can come from anywhere, from a good book like Howl's Moving Castle to an old manga and anime like Kimba the White Lion helping inspire The Lion King. However, while anime may have helped influence Disney products on a number of occasions, the same could also be said in reverse. Disney classics like Cinderella and The Little Mermaid help inspire anime series and manga in turn.
However, not all inspiration is the same. Though two series might be inspired by Snow White, the end product doesn't have the same plot or characters. It may not even be set in the same or similar worlds. Disney helped inspire plenty of the manga, but these are the ten best manga series Disney helped inspire.
