Born in the Philadelphia area, Mariah moved to Los Angeles at the age of 21 to pursue a career in acting and writing. She was a familiar face as a member of the staff at WGA West for several years. She is best known for starring as ambitious census bureau agent Alice Fresno in comic book writer and "Ben 10" creator Joe Casey's "Hit Parade". She was also known for her sometimes outrageous comedic work with the maestro of funny, Adrian Quihuis.

A true crime aficionado, one of Mariah's final projects was authoring several episodes of the web series "Last Seen" which follows a podcast host as she travels to a small Pennsylvania town to investigate a decades-old cold case in an attempt to find an answer to what happened to the missing Honeycutt Three.
