I tried to bridge the gap between the depression of living the way we do and the anger and desperate fear a young person would feel about that. I feel personally, since Columbine and right on through a lot of the violent incidents in North America particularly, that a lot of it is prompted by an over-regimented, over-built, over-paid, over-hyped society.
