Burcu graduated from Anadolu University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Economy Department in 2000.
In 2002, she was being a correspondent and news reporter in Channel D News; editor and news reporter in Radio D and Radio Foreks; host in "Bi Dünya Tasarim" program during 3 seasons in the channel TRT Türk TV.
Burcu Kara got an acting training by Sahika Tekand.
Her professional acting career that began in 2003, she starred in the Tv series "Haziran Gecesi", "Elveda Derken", "Ipsiz Recep", "Kirli Beyaz", "Maskeli Balo", "Yillar Sonra", "Tozlu Yollar", "Milat" ; in the long feature films "O Simdi Mahkum", "Dünyayi Kurtaran Adamin Oglu", "Romantik Komedi", "Romantik Komedi 2" and theatre plays "Güllü", "Tatli Çarsamba", "Eglenceli Cinayetler Kumpanyasi".
Lastly, she played the role of "Advocate Nihan" in the Tv series "Kördügüm" .
