Mamdouh Abd El Aleem was a prominent Egyptian actor. He performed in radio and television programs as a child actor under director Ibrahim AbdulJalil. His early acting development was guided by Inaam Mohamed Ali and Nour El-Demerdash, who cast him in Al Ganna Al Azraa (1970) alongside Karima Mokhtar, which was his first role.
He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Political Sciences in 1980. His breakout role came with Asseela (1980), followed by a series of successful television appearances. On film, he debuted in Qahwat el-Mawardi (1981). He later received accolades for Al-azraa wa al shaar al abyad (1983) and Al Khadema (1984). While his TV roles in series such as Al Helmeya Nights (1987) and Al Do' El Shared (1998) brought him wide acclaim, he didn't achieve the same level of stardom in cinema.
