Born and raised in Paris, spent 10 years in Canada, Seydina BALDÉ has worshiped his passion for the movie industry since the childhood. He started to attend theatrical classes at the age of 10 and managed to be noticed while performing.
He also has a strong background in martial arts as he's been karate world champion in the early 2000's before he decided to meet up his first passion, to be an actor again.
After 20 years and about 25 roles as an actor, Seydina, fluent in English, leads his career in France, North America or Asia where he's been involved in many international projects such as "James Bond' Casino Royale" , "Danny the Dog", recently in the TV show "ZeroZeroZero" produced by Amazon and Canal+ and the action-drama movie "Hound of war" starring Frank Grillo and Robert Patrick.
As a producer with his first company Aeternalis Films, he has produced a dozen of short films, corporate films and an action-thriller film shot in Hong Kong entitled "The Borderland" or "Covert Operation" distributed in 2015 by the prestigious studio Lionsgate.
In 2020, Seydina created Shimazu Productions, a production company more focused on genre contents. Two years later, he created, written, starred and co-produced with Alexandre Rideau from Keewu Production, alongside one of the Europe's largest film studio Mediawan and Canal+ group, the first action-martial arts program in Africa entitled "Lex Africana". The 6-episode TV show, entirely shot in Senegal, will be broadcast by Canal+ as late April 2024 and by the cable channel Action as October of the same year.
