Scott R. Melamed
Scott led his team to win the Torch Award for Business Ethics from the Better Business Bureau and has been named one of Maryland's Most Admired CEOs. Scott won Most Valuable and Runner Up on The Blox Reality TV Show.
Prior to getting into corporate America, Scott worked in academia as a scientist studying pancreatic and urologic cancers at Weill Cornell, Columbia NY Presbyterian Hospital, Sloan Kettering, and Johns Hopkins. Scott is a published author in academic journals.
Scott is also an active volunteer with Johns Hopkins Alumni recruiting, the Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter, The House of Ruth, Pi Kappa Alpha, the Better Business Bureau, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, & several other organizations including ProMD Helps, which is the philanthropic foundation inside of ProMD Health, of which he is the Executive Director.
