In 2008, Ellen Hollman became CEO/Founder of non-profit organization Visual Impact Now. Her celebrity hosts have included Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, January Jones, Robert Luketic etc. Her organization has conducted various eye clinics in Los Angeles, servicing over 6,000 children with glasses.

Hollman was an all-star track runner, holding the female state record in Michigan for the long jump (17.5ft).

Trained in Jiu Jitsu and earned her Pink belt from the Gracie Academy which her Le Roi Scorpion : La Quête du pouvoir (2015) co-star Eve Torres is a member.

Born in Michigan of two musician parents, Ellen Hollman is the oldest of four siblings.

Both she and her Spartacus: War of the Damned costar Cynthia Addai Robinson guest starred in the 14th season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. However, they starred in different episodes.
