The 48-year-old Barstool Sports founder made the comments about the 22-year-old climate and humanitarian activist on The Unnamed Show podcast in an episode that aired Wednesday (June 4), hosted by Kirk Minihane and Ryan Whitney.

“I do think words matter,” he said during a heated exchange with one of the hosts.

“You just can’t make jokes that incite hate. We’ve seen what that leads to.”

But later in the conversation, he mocked Greta’s involvement in a humanitarian mission to Gaza, per Mediaite.

Greta is currently sailing on Madleen, operated by activist group Freedom Flotilla Coalition, which departed from the Sicilian port of Catania, in southern Italy.

Very Bad Trailer for Horror Movie 'Spin The Bottle' Based on the Game
Image
"That kid and his family brought nothing but death to our town." Paramount has unveiled an official trailer for a horror movie called Spin The Bottle, which is being released on VOD in October next month - so they don't miss out on horror month. This is like one of those fake parody movies you see in a comedy and laugh that they actually could make it. A spin the bottle movie?! This is as a hilarious dumb as a Hungry Hungry Hippos horror. The story of a group of teens in small town Texas who unleash a deadly force after playing the famous game in an abandoned house where a grisly massacre once took place. Isn't this plot the same as every other horror film? Starring Tanner Stine, Kaylee Kaneshiro, Tony Amendola, Ryan Whitney, Hal Cumpston, Angela Halili, Samantha Cormier, with Ali Larter and Barbarian's Justin Long. This looks remarkably bad,...

Exposure Review: A Psychological Thriller With Something To Say
Image
Peter Cannon's film Exposure aims to present a nuanced take on obsessive compulsive disorder (Ocd) without judgment, raising fascinating moral questions. The film puts the viewer directly in the shoes of Tanner, a freelance It guy living with Ocd, portraying the fear that consumes his every movement and exacerbates his condition. While favoring thriller elements, the film explores the consequences of unaddressed Ocd and highlights the strain it puts on relationships, but refrains from vilifying anyone involved.

Most mental illnesses are often misunderstood by the general public, with stereotypes and harmful misconceptions popping up in media more often than not. The new film Exposure, written and directed by Peter Cannon and soon making its debut at the Newport Beach Film Festival, aims to present a nuanced take on obsessive compulsive disorder, told through the lens of a twisty thriller. In many ways, it succeeds in presenting Ocd without judgment...

First Trailer for YouTube's Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Film 'The Thinning'
"Are you ready for test day?" YouTube Red has unveiled the first trailer for a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller titled The Thinning, from writer/director Michael J. Gallagher. Set in the future, the story focuses on a high school aptitude test that is used to manage the population. Two students, played by Logan Paul and Peyton List, discover the test isn't what it seems and may actually be covering up a bigger conspiracy. This sounds kind of like Logan's Run, but revised to a high school level "aptitude test". The full cast includes Lia Marie Johnson, Calum Worthy, Matthew Glave, Michael Traynor and Ryan Newman. This looks like a mix of Hunger Games and a bunch of other much better sci-fi, but that may be why it's direct to VOD. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Michael J. Gallagher's The Thinning, direct from YouTube: YouTube's The Thinning takes place in...

Sharknado (2013)
The fourth installment of Syfy's mega-popular Sharknado series premiered Sunday. Ian Ziering was back as chainsaw-touting Fin Shepard, alongside Tara Reid and David Hasselhoff. With a new team of allies by their side, they battled the Sharknados – which this time have evolved into fire-breathing, hail-throwing, sand-blasting threats.

Comic-Con 2016 Interview: Anthony Ferrante and Caroline Williams on Sharknado: The 4th Awakens
On July 31st, Syfy will unleash Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, picking up five years after we last saw Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) battling the titular forces of nature, and with the story heading to Las Vegas this time around, rest assured that all bets are off.

Daily Dead recently caught up with Sharknado 4 director Anthony Ferrante and scream queen Caroline Williams, who has a role in the latest sequel, to hear more about what fans can expect from The 4th Awakens and how Ferrante was able to pay homage to several of his favorite horror movies in this latest installment, including The Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2, of course.

Anthony, you’ve been with Sharknado since the beginning and here you are, back for a fourth film. Can you start off by talking about what’s new for The 4th Awakens?

Sharknado 4 Trailer Unleashes a Firenado, Cownado and Wayne Newton
Sharknado (2013)
Last month, Syfy released a new trailer for their highly-anticipated sequel Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, which revealed the fate of Tara Reid's character April. The third installment ended on a cliffhanger, allowing fans to vote whether April lives or dies. Fans voted for her return. Today we have a new trailer, which features just some of the numerous cameos, along with a few Star Wars references as well.

The trailer, which debuted on YouTube today, reveals that the action has shifted to Las Vegas, and that this new Sharknado isn't the only thing Vegas residents have to worry about. We also see a number of new tornadoes, such as a "firenado," "oilnado" and a "cownado," which may be a not-so-subtle reference to the infamous cow scene in the 1996 thriller Twister. It is also revealed cities such as San Francisco, Seattle and Salt Lake City coming under attack from these inexplicable storms.

Sharknado (2013)
After invading both the West and East Coasts in the first three movies, the Sharknado sensation is heading to the Las Vegas desert in Sharknado: The 4th Awakens. Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering) and April Wexler (Tara Reid) reprise their roles from the first three Sharknado movies, with Gary Busey signing on to play April's father. Sharknado 4 Gets an Absurd Star Wars-Themed Title and Premiere Date
I don’t know why, but for some reason people love these stupid-ass Sharknado movies. There’s a fourth film currently in production, and it has been given groan-worthy Star Wars-inspired title. The film is called Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, and according to TV Line it will premiere on Sunday, July 31sh. I’m sure fans of this franchise will love the title.

The two-hour original movie will pick up five years after last summer’s Oh Hell No! three-quel, with Ian Ziering’s Fin enjoying a sharknado-free existence… until the natural disasters begin cropping up in expected places.

Tara Reid will return to the franchise to reveal the outcome of the #AprilLives or #AprilDies social campaign. Sharknado 3 stars David Hasselhoff and Ryan Newman will also be back for more action. Some of the new cast members for The 4th Awakens include Gary Busey as April’s dad,...

'Sharknado 4' Gets 'Star Wars' Inspired Title and Premiere Date
Sharknado (2013)
Sharknado 4 is coming this summer! Of course it is. And it's not letting a good Star Wars reference go to waste. You better set your DVRs right now, because this will truly be the TV event of the summer season.

Sharknado: The 4th Awakens promises to deliver the biggest shark storm seen yet. Yes, there will be sharks-in-tornadoes! The sequel to last summer's Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! will pick up five years later. The East Coast has finally recovered from the thrashing it took. Sharknado: The 4th Awakens Is Not An April Fools’ Prank, Sequel Hits Syfy In July
More airborne sharks are bound for Syfy this summer, after the network confirmed that Sharknado: The 4th Awakens will premiere on the small screen come Sunday, July 31.

Taking place five years after Sharnado 3: Oh Hell No! rained down chaos on America’s East Coast, The 4th Awakens welcomes back series stalwart Tara Reid in the role of April Wexler, with the fourth entry poised to reveal the results of last year’s fan-voted #AprilLives or #AprilDies Twitter campaign in spectacular fashion – regardless of the outcome. David Hasselhoff and Ryan Newman, meanwhile, are back as Gil and Claudia Shepard, respectively.

Last year’s Oh Hell No! may have struggled to pull in the same viewing figures as its bat-shit insane predecessors – down to 2.81 million viewers from The Second One‘s 3.87 million – but nevertheless, the cult Sharknado franchise still has enough mileage to spike Syfy’s total viewing figures year in,...
