Zachary Baharov is a Bulgarian actor known for his commanding screen presence and versatile performances across film, television, and stage. He rose to prominence with his breakout role as Ivo Andonov in the hit Bulgarian crime series Undercover (Pod Prikritie), becoming one of the most recognizable faces in Eastern European cinema.
Internationally, Baharov gained wider recognition for his role as Loboda, a Wildling chieftain, in Season 5 of HBO's Game of Thrones. His credits include leading and supporting roles in critically acclaimed Bulgarian and international productions such as Slow Horses (2022), The Bureau (2017), Zift (2008), The Way Back (2010), and Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One (2023).
A graduate of the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts (NATFA) in Sofia, Baharov is also an accomplished stage actor, having performed for over a decade at the Ivan Vazov National Theatre. His stage work includes major roles in Don Juan, King Lear, and The Seagull.
He is a founder of (BAZA)x, an independent production company supporting film and theatre projects in Bulgaria.
