Andy Hunn

Andy Hunn, known for playing Billy in The Legend of Yella George, was born and raised in South Bend, Indiana until his family relocated to Gainesville, Florida when he was ten years old. He graduated with honors from Eastside High School in Gainesville. Andy was in the United States Navy and the Navy Reserves. During the Gulf War he was in a combat medical unit and later served on board the U.S.S. W.S. Sims (FF-1059). He was also a dual major in English and Classics with a minor in Computer Sciences at the University of Florida. As a musician, Andy performed with several bands in the Gainesville community, and still does when scheduling permits it. He also is a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, singing lead and tenor with a local chapter of the organization. Andy has written, directed and performed in many plays and musicals throughout North Florida where he resides.
