As middle school is ending, Erin, the only out person in her grade, and Liz, fellow comic nerd and track star, find their friendship tested when Liz is accepted to private school and Erin falls hard for new girl and ex child-star, Sydni. Erin believes the only way to save herself from certain doom is to ask Sydni to the big dance, but the plan goes awry when she starts to lose Liz along the way.

Clique Pictures is a vibrant film and television production company with a focus on working with female creative talent in front and behind the camera. Clique Pictures recently completed the feature documentary Metamorphosis by co-directors Nova Ami and Velcrow Ripper and the short documentary One Leg In, One Leg Out for CBC Digital with director Lisa Rideout. Clique Pictures is in post-production on Riot Girls with director Jovanka Vuckovic and writer Katherine Collins and in production on the television documentary On the Line with directors Juliet Lammers and Lorraine Price.

Lauren Grant co-produced the feature film Giant Little Ones starring Josh Wiggins, Maria Bello and Kyle MacLachlan set to premiere at TIFF 2018 as well as co-produced The Parting Glass for CASM Films. Directed by Stephen Moyer, The Parting Glass stars Ed Asner, Rhys Ifans, Melissa Leo, Cynthia Nixon, Denis O'Hare, and Anna Paquin. Lauren also served as executive producer on the short documentary Take a Walk on the Wildside by director Lisa Rideout, which premiered at Hot Docs in 2017 and won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Short Doc in 2018.

Clique Pictures' productions include the feature film Wet Bum starring Julia Sarah Stone, which premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and the feature documentary Traceable, which screened theatrically around the world as part of Fashion Revolution Day events honoring the 1127 victims of the Rana Plaza Factory collapse in Bangladesh.

Previous productions include the feature Picture Day and the futuristic short film Frost, both premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival. Picture Day won the Borsos Award for Best Film and Best Performance at the Whistler Film Festival for lead actress Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black). Frost won Best Canadian Short Film at the Edmonton International Film Festival and was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for Best Live Action Short Film. Lauren worked as production consultant on season one of the Temple Street series Killjoys.

In 2011, Lauren won the best live action short drama Genie Award (Canada's Oscar) for the residential school musical Savage. The film has screened at over 50 film festivals including Berlinale, BFI, SXSW and the NYC Children's Film Festival.
