- Staci Valdez grew up just outside Detroit, the daughter of a Chrysler tool & die maker and a stay-at-home mom who always knew she was destined for the stage-or at least very comfortable being the center of attention. She studied Theatre at Western Michigan University, graduating Summa Cum Laude, Phi Kappa Phi, and as a Presidential Scholar-which is about as fancy as it gets in Michigan without actually being in a parade.
While in college, Staci lit up the Kalamazoo theatre scene and was invited to tour Greece with The Classical Theatre Company at the University of Detroit-a life-changing experience that confirmed two things: she was willing to perform in 100-degree heat wearing a wire-and-gauze mask on a 2,000-year-old stage-and feta belongs on everything.
In Los Angeles, she's worn nearly every hat in the business-acting in, directing, and producing a wide range of plays, improv shows, and short films. She can be seen on The Orville: New Horizons and Clipped, both streaming on Hulu, and popping up in flashback montages and dream sequences nationwide.
Staci is also the co-founder of Flash Mob America, the original and largest flash mob production company in the world. As a dancer, she's appeared on Modern Family and numerous national talk and reality shows-often while very pregnant, because why let a little thing like growing a human stop you from surprising someone in a food court?
She has two daughters, a husband, and a dog who all think she is perfect and have zero complaints ever about anything.- IMDb mini biography by: SW
