Biography

Cheryl Stell was born on March 9, 1977 in Temple, Texas. The youngest of four children to an Army/Marine vet and a Vietnamese immigrant. Her mother decided to raise her children on her own and moved the family to Houston, Texas when Cheryl was about 2-years-old. Cheryl began dabbling in modeling around Houston when she was about 16-years-old and found interest in acting from elementary through high school in plays and drama classes. Cheryl found her first success as a commercial print and informal runway model in Houston, Texas. She worked regularly as a professional model for companies such as Neiman Marcus, Foley's, Oshman's and Weiners. Modeling in print often brings on-camera bookings and Cheryl soon found her way into commercials, industrials, and indie films. Cheryl excelled in art in school and she began college studying art. Her interest and love of being on either side of the camera made her change her college degree from art and graphic design/MIS (computer informational systems) to broadcast journalism and media production. Cheryl graduated from the University of Houston in 2005 with a BA. Her love of art and design never left her side and Cheryl has also managed to develop her own successful career as a make-up artist. She is the key make-up artist and owner of Stellar Makeup. Cheryl still works on either side of the camera and is busy enjoying her life juggling a family and working in the industry she absolutely loves.
