Appeared as Brian in Mary O'Malley's "Look Out ... Here Comes Trouble!" for the RSC at the Donmar Warehouse, London in 1979. Also in the cast were: Gaye Brown (Sylvia), Jane Carr (Janet), Edwin Richfield (Denis), John Rogan (Kieran), Nicholas Le Prevost (Dr Wilson), Maxine Audley (Olive), Deirdra Morris (Vicky), Jeffery Kissoon (Cyril), Brian Hayes (Wally), Charles Wegner (Trevor), Nigel Terry (George), Doreen Keogh (Mrs O'Toole), Denyse Alexander (Night Nurse). It was directed by John Caird.

(1994) He directed Mikhail Bulgakov's stage adaptation of Leo Tolstoy's novel, "War and Peace," at the Guildhall School Theatre in London, England with Giles Smith, Jonathan Bond, Antonio Canots, Florence Sparham, Francis Maguire, Sune Svanekier, Massimiliano Farau, Dominic West, and Theo Fraser Steele in the cast.
