Days after gossip flared that Drake would be releasing a posthumous Aaliyah album, the first single, titled "Enough Said," was leaked by producer Noah "40" Shebib.

Billed as Aaliyah featuring Drake, "Enough Said" includes never-before-heard vocals from the late singer. The artwork for the album features both the logo of Drake's label, October's Very Own, and Blackground Records, with whom Aaliyah was signed, noted MissInfo.tv.

News of the new single quickly spread on Twitter, where fans expressed bittersweet emotions over the beloved singer, who died tragically in a plane crash in August 2001.

Although "Enough Said" received great reviews, many fans asked: "Why not Timbaland?"

Aaliyah and the rapper/producer were close friends and confidants. They collaborated on numerous tracks, and he produced the majority of Aaliyah's sophomore album, One In A Million.
